About the life of wannabe gangster Henry Hill (played by Ray Liotta), Martin Scorsese’s 1990 film GoodFellas is widely regarded as one of the best gangster films ever made.

As a young boy growing up in Brooklyn, Henry Hill was enamoured of the mob lifestyle and soon became involved with the local mobs.

Based on Nicolas Pileggi’s book, Wiseguy, Scorsese’s film tells the story of Hill’s life as a career-mobster and the effect it had on him and those around him.

The film had a great cast including Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci who won his only  Academy Award (to date) for his portrayal of Tommy DeVito.

This original US lobby card shows Henry and Karen’s wedding day.
