Frankenstein 1970

Released in 1958, the 1970 of the title was to give the movie a futuristic feel, and to explain how Karloff’s character is able to build a nuclear reactor.
Playing a Frankenstein for the first time, Karloff looks as if he is having fun, and the end product may be a B movie, but a decent watch nonetheless.
This is original Lobby Card #6 from the set of 8 produced for the film’s first release. It’s clear that the Karloff name was still what was going to sell the film and it features large. There’s a scene with the new monster, and nice border artwork, with a monster much more reminiscent of the original.
