Dr No

It was 60 years ago that that the cinema-going public was first introduced to James Bond with Dr No, when Agent James Bond is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of an MI6 colleague.

It may not have the death defying stunts and special effects of some of the later films but for many, it’s still the best.

Original cinema movie posters for early Bond outings are now incredibly hard to find, and very collectable.

This is an original Italian locandina, from an early 1970s, probably 1971 cinematic re-release of the film.  Like most of the very popular Italian Dr No posters, this is the design featuring Ursula Andress as well as an iconic Connery as Bond.
