1939 saw the release of the Marx Brothers circus set comedy.

Their films at MGM had more plot, and usually a romance between co-stars, but there was still plenty of fun to be had.

And in this one there is also Groucho’s unforgettable rendition of Lydia, the Tattoed Lady.

This is an original US One Sheet from the movie’s cinematic re-release in 1962, which re-used the original Al Hirschfeld cartoon artwork
