The Italian Job
A classic helping of everything that was good about Sixties Britain. Michael Caine, as the archetypal Cockney who leads the caper, is at his absolute best.
And the rest of the cast is wonderful, from Noel Coward as the urbane Mr Bridges, through ever dependables such as Fred Emney, John Le Mesurier and Irene Handl, up to and including the late great Simon Dee.
There are so many great set pieces, and whatever you like, from Benny Hill to repeatable one liners, to minis, you’re bound to find something here. Including the last line to top all last lines.
It’s a timeless movie.
All original cinema lobby cards and posters for the film are highly collectable.
This is an original release US lobby card featuring border art from the main US poster campaign and a scene from the film.
This lobby card is in good condition, but there is some creasing in the black title area at the bottom, although it is less noticeable in real life than in the photo.
