12 Angry Men

Classic court (jury) room drama from 1957, as the 12 jurors deliberate over the verdict they have to deliver in what initially looks like an open and shut case.

The action is based in the jury room, and as it progresses, doubt sets in, and the preconceptions and prejudices of the individual jurists emerge.

Henry Fonda was top billed, but the whole cast was excellent, especially Lee J Cobb.

Although it didn’t win any Oscars, its popularity has grown over the years, and it is an often requested title, making its original posters and lobby cards very collectable.
